Assist with clinical services, such as medication reconciliation, prior authorization, refill authorization, etc.
Obtains and documents complete and accurate medication histories of patients.
Clarify information with patients, prescribers, caregivers, and pharmacies when needed.
Provide exceptional customer service each day in a phone-based environment, handling inbound and outbound calls to/from patients, caregivers, and providers.
Resolve customer concerns and provide appropriate follow-up and next steps for the caller.
Assist with TSS staffing services including order triaging, phone call answering, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.
Assist pharmacists through queue monitoring, data entry and prescription transcription in Pharmacy Information Systems, submit insurance claims, transferring prescriptions in accordance with applicable laws, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
National Certification & State licenses are required
High speed internet service, required (must be through cable or fiber service provider)
Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician educational program, preferred
Experience with medication reconciliation, preferred
Experience with prescription data entry, preferred
Experience with project coordination
Able to work independently
Able to communicate effectively via email and phone
Open availability for emergency assistance
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficiency with office technology tools, to include MS Office 2000 or later, internet, and email
Experience with Google G-Suite, preferred
