Training may occur at a designated training facility or clinic other than your assigned home location.
Opportunity to float between clinics during and after training as needed.
Requires a flexible schedule with availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What to Expect
Direct Patient Care: Provide safe, compassionate, and hygienic dialysis treatments through one-on-one patient interactions.
Patient Monitoring: Oversee patients before, during, and after dialysis—recording vital signs, observations, and operating dialysis equipment. (Note: This role involves exposure to blood and needles.)
Patient Relationships: Build lasting connections with patients undergoing treatment for end-stage renal disease, typically three times per week, while educating them on kidney health and dialysis care.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, dietitians, social workers, and clinical leaders. All PCTs operate under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

Qualifications Genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of patients. High school diploma or equivalent required. Comfortable working around blood, needles, and chemical solutions (acid/bicarb mixing). Physically and mentally able to handle long shifts (some exceeding 12 hours); must be comfortable standing for extended periods. Willing to train and work across multiple clinics as needed within your region. Prior healthcare experience preferred, including certifications such as BONENT, CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy.
