Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and committed Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and assist them with daily living activities. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals who require dedicated medical and personal care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support patients with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

  • Measure and document vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.

  • Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare provider.

  • Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation while ensuring safety at all times.

  • Help implement care plans and follow prescribed treatment protocols.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and organized medical documentation.

  • Perform basic clinical tasks, including venipuncture and sterile processing.

  • Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during difficult moments.

  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA standards and uphold patient confidentiality.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of HIPAA guidelines and the ability to protect patient confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in safe medication administration following established protocols.

  • Familiarity with hospice care principles and end-of-life support.

  • Ability to assist with medical procedures, including spinal taps, as directed by providers.

  • Strong organizational abilities for managing medical records and documentation workflows.

  • Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred.

  • Competent venipuncture skills for blood collection.

  • Ability to provide patient ventilation support using appropriate equipment and techniques.

  • Knowledge of sterile processing practices to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
